MEET DR. SHAHEEN YOUSSEF
Dr. Youssef founded YOU Orthodontics with a simple philosophy—clinical excellence should always be paired with personal connection.
Originally from Long Island, he earned his Bachelor of Science from Fordham University before attaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. He went on to complete a three-year orthodontic specialty program at UB, earning a Certificate of Advanced Study and a Master of Science in Orthodontics, graduating summa cum laude.
He currently serves as President of the Greater Buffalo Association of Orthodontists, and he is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and UB Dental Alumni Association. He remains active in advancing orthodontic education and standards of care.
When Dr. Youssef is not at the office, he enjoys marathon running, traveling the world, and exploring all the different restaurants that Buffalo has to offer. Fun fact: Dr. Youssef was a competitive dancer who won the title of “Mr. Dance of Long Island” back in his day!
In practice, Dr. Youssef is known for his thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and his ability to connect comfortably with patients of all ages. He believes orthodontics should feel positive, empowering, and collaborative from the first visit through final results.
